8 Jan 2020 — Next week, we will witness the mainnet launch of the highly anticipated #Symbol #blockchain and its new functions.

Since Sep 2020, #NEM has announced their integration with #Propine, who will provide full custody and issuance support for the Symbol platform on mainnet launch. This partnership between NEM Group and Propine will enable users to take advantage of Propine’s fully compliant custody services and to issue, manage and customize security tokens on Symbol, ensuring safe token maintenance and delivery.

Symbol is a hybrid blockchain, built specifically with enterprises in mind while Propine’s solutions cater for institutional clients as well. SYMBOL’s plugins enable digital asset creation, decentralized swaps, multi-level multi-signature accounts, advanced account systems, business logic modeling, and interaction between public and private data.

Upon launch, Symbol will be scheduled for adoption by digital asset management firm, Wave Financial. They will be the first client to implement this service offering and will see the issuance of digital securities representing ownership in the Kentucky Whiskey Fund on Symbol.
