Paris Hilton Auctioned Off A Digital Painting Of Her Cat For 40 ETH, Worth Around $17,000!

18 Aug 2020 — Paris Hilton, a celebrity and Hilton hotel heiress auctioned off a digital painting of her cat, Munchkin 🐱 for 40 ETH, worth around $17,000!

Want to own a digital artwork by Crypto world leaders or your favourite idol? Now you can, from the recently launched Ethereum-based auction platform Cryptograph.

Through blockchain technology, a Cryptograph is one-of-a-kind digital creations, 100% owned by its collector and it cannot be forged as it’s designed to exist forever.

Each Cryptograph in the form of unique non-fungible tokens (NFTs) stored on the #Ethereum #blockchain, is sold at auction and then traded by collectors on the platform’s secondary market, raising money for charity every time they are transacted.

“A key differentiator is our unique business model that aligns the interests of our creators and charities over the long term (by giving creators and charities a share in the perpetual revenue of each Cryptograph) will drive long term value to our collectibles and to our collectors.” – CEO, Hugo McDonaugh

According to Cryptograph, a pseudonymous user called Adirolls, won the auction on August 15 while the profits from Hilton’s auction have benefited three charities: Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Meals on Wheels and Backpack Bed for Homeless.
